Teasdale is owned by US private-equity firm Snow Phipps Group, which acquired the business in 2014 from Palladium Equity Partners. It manufactures Hispanic canned bean and hominy products.

The acquisition of Bruce Foods will see the business provide transition services to Teasdale, with the intention of being fully integrated into the group in 2016. Following the transaction,

Bruce Foods will focus on marinades, outdoor cooking appliances, seasonings and sauce mixes, and pancake mix, sold to the retail and foodservice channels under brands such as Cajun Injector, Cajun King, and Bruce’s, as well as jalapenos, green chilies and other items for the foodservice and industrial food channels.

It will maintain its sales team and corporate offices in New Iberia in Louisiana, as well as its plant in El Paso in Texas.
