Indonesian retailer PT Hero Supermarket has said it plans to build four new hypermarkets this year.

The company also plans to build 16 pharmacies and small-size convenience stores as part of its efforts to boost sales, reported Dow Jones News.
The company has earmarked around IDR200bn (US$21.3m) for the expansion plans. In 2003 Hero Supermarket posted a 24% rise in sales to IDR3trn.
