The appointment positions J O Sims as the UK supplier of Traina’s range of California sun dried fruits with no added sugar, the company said. Among the products to be supplied to J O Sims are California Fancy apricots and California Angelino plums.


“In recent years, we have seen a significant move towards gourmet and high quality foods and ingredients in the UK and we expect high demand for the new range of sun dried fruits,” said Lee Doleman, general manager of J O Sims’ ingredients division.
