Imports of poultry meat and products into the European Union from Romania have been further restricted.
The European Commission has extended a regionalised ban to 26 Romanian provinces affected by avian influenza. EU restrictions on live birds from Romania continue to apply to the whole country.
The EC first imposed restricted imports of live birds, poultry meat and other poultry products from Romania in October.
