Chimoff will be joining the Tate and Lyle global marketing department, working with Greg Morency, vice president, global marketing.

Chimoff will support the senior management team to drive, accelerate, as well as evolve the business, the company said.  He will lead the overall marketing efforts for Tate and Lyle’s portfolio.  He will also work with the sales and research & development teams to fully leverage the understanding of key market trends and factors driving customer needs in order to develop new value-added ingredient solutions.

“Harvey brings a wealth of expertise to Tate and Lyle, and I am confident that with his proven track record leading some of the world’s most successful brands, he will be able to elevate momentum and drive innovation. As Tate & Lyle continues to lead and define the ingredients industry, he will play an integral role in helping to set the agenda for the market,” said Greg Morency.

Before joining Tate and Lyle, he co-founded and managed Primos Trading Company, LLC, an international firm that imports and sells Spanish wine in the US retail market, where he developed, managed and implemented all marketing and sales activities. Additionally, Chimoff held a number of executive positions within Unilever North America for a decade.
