The US convenience store chain, which operates globally, also said it will add 900 stores in North America over the next three years, according to Retail Week.


Approximately 3,300 of 7-Eleven, Inc.’s 7,100 stores in North America are operated by franchisees, and approximately 430 are operated by licensees.


In 2005, 7-Eleven, Inc. became a wholly owned subsidiary of Seven & I Holdings Company.
