Discover B2B Marketing That Performs
Combine business intelligence and editorial excellence to reach engaged professionals across 36 leading media platforms.
Dubbed Xtreme Cuisine Cooking School, the free one- and two-day after-school classes target students aged 9 to 15, whose after school snacks are typically low in nutrition and fibre and high in salt, sugar and fats.
In agricultural extension offices throughout the state, students prepare whole-wheat pizzas, fruit parfaits and other nutritious and tasty treats under the supervision of a professional chef, while learning about vitamins and minerals, their own nutritional requirements, and how to read food nutrition labels. They also receive recipe and nutritional brochures as well as a certificate attesting to their newly acquired skills.
