An operator of SuperValu chains in Ireland has reportedly made plans to join forces with property developer Frank Gormley, securing site redevelopments through a deal valued at over EUR100m (US$131.9m).

According to The Irish Times newspaper, Caulfield McCarthy, which operates a chain of SuperValu stores in the south and east of Ireland, will embark on a joint venture with Gormley’s Howard Eurocape.


The venture would redevelop seven retail sites and continue for the next five years, it was reported.
