Ingredients company Treatt has announced a rise in turnover and profit for the year ended 30 September, with results helped by an increase in prices for both orange and grapefruit oil based products.
Turnover rose to GBP32.5m (US$57.3m), from GBP31.8m the year before. Profit on ordinary activities after taxation rose to GBP2.4m from GBP1.7m.
The results were also supported by growth in the company’s Treattarome product range in the US whilst sales of aroma chemicals by R C Treatt held up well despite stiff international competition, the company said.
