James W Ehlers has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Sysco Food Services of San Francisco located in Fremont, California. Ehlers, who currently serves as executive vice president of that operation, will assume his new duties effective 1 January 2006. He succeeds current president and chief executive Michael J. McLoughlin, who is retiring at the end of this calendar year following a celebrated 34-year SYSCO career.
Catherine Kayser has been promoted to president and chief executive officer of Sysco Food Services of Seattle located in Kent, Washington. Kayser, who is currently executive vice president of the Seattle operation, will assume her new duties on 1 January 2006. She succeeds current president and chief executive officer Robert M Jenson, who will retire at the end of the calendar year following a distinguished 33-year career in the foodservice industry.
