Hardee’s is beginning implementation of Instill’s Data & Analysis(SM) solution to identify supply chain opportunities for its 2,437 restaurants.
Instill’s Data & Analysis solution will gather Hardee’s system-wide direct goods purchase data. The data will be cleaned and standardized using Instill’s industry leading foodservice product database to create actionable supply chain information. A customized set of Instill’s business intelligence and data mining applications will identify specific supply chain optimization opportunities in areas including purchasing compliance, sku rationalization, forecasting and price variance.

By GlobalDataHardee’s becomes the seventh top 20 foodservice operator to join Instill’s rapidly expanding network. With Hardee’s and more than 30 other chain restaurant customers, Instill will provide supply chain support to more than 53,000 restaurants across North America and will have more than US$9bn in annual food purchases flowing through its systems. Instill now supports 10% of the chain restaurant locations in the US.
CKE is the nation’s fourth largest company operating hamburger quick-service restaurants based on system-wide sales of US$3.16bn for fiscal year ended 29 January 2001.
John Dunion, executive VP of supply chain management for CKE commented: “The information provided through Instill’s programming will assist several departments in optimizing Hardee’s supply chain.
