Bulgaria’s competition regulator has permitted Bella Bulgaria, a pastries and salami maker, to buy a majority stake in rival Bulgarian ham producer Solaris AS.
The Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) ruled that such a deal would increase the competitiveness of the two companies, without giving either a dominant position in the market.
