Marking the origin of produce identifies whether goods are produced within the Green Line in Israel or in Israeli settlements located in the West Bank and the Gaza Region.


Trade sources in Tel Aviv noted that the bulk of the produce from Israeli settlements in the West Bank and the Gaza Region relates to fresh and processed food products.


The agreement went into effect at the beginning of February 2005.
