New Jersey’s restaurant association says that individuals concerned about obesity “should emphasise healthy lifestyle, personal responsibility, regular exercise and moderation”. Demand for mandatory nutrition labelling has soared following scores of lawsuits blaming fastfood restaurants for people’s medical problems, and the release of the “Super Size Me” film, which documents the dangers of fastfood.
