For the financial period to 28 March, Natures Way foods reported a 9.1% rise in revenue to £247.8m ($325.3m), according to a filing with Companies House.
Operating profit increased to £8.7m from £3.7m the previous year, while net profit for the period jumped to £6.3m from £2.2m.
Headquartered in Salinas, California, family-owned Taylor Farms has facilities across the US, Canada, and Mexico. It generates revenue of $7.3bn.
The deal follows Taylor Farms’ purchase of Bonduelle’s packaged salads business in Germany earlier this year, a transaction completed alongside Foodiverse, the Spanish company in which Taylor Farms invested in 2023.
In December, Taylor Farms also took a stake in Hessing, a Netherlands-based processor and distributor of fresh produce serving Germany, Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands.
The group carried out a voluntary recall last year of certain yellow onions supplied to fast-food chains after an E. coli outbreak linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounder burgers in October 2024.
The onions originated from Taylor Farms’ Colorado Springs facility and were distributed to McDonald’s and other restaurants.
