A Hungarian governmental commission is due to discuss today [Thursday] the possible provision of 290m Hungarian forints (US$1m) to subsidise the export of 4,000 tonnes of chicken.
After export prices fell by between 40% and 50%, unsold chicken stocks in Hungary have increased; a situation that prompted the proposal, revealed local newspaper Vilaggazdasag.
