Dutch dairy cooperative Campina has purchased a 7.96% stake in the publicly listed Alaska Milk Corporation.
One of Europe’s leading dairy firms, Campina is currently engaged in a process of international expansion.
Campina’s stake is equivalent to 70.06m common shares, which were purchased between September and December 2005.
Campina was unavailable for comment.
