SPAIN: Grupo Gallo posts 14.4% rise in 2002 net profit
Spanish packaged food company Grupo Gallo has posted a net profit of €7.16m (US$7.73m) for 2002, a year-on-year increase of 14.4%. The company’s 2002 turnover increased 15.2% to €205.8m. Gallo invested €5m in its refrigerated food plant in Granollers, northeastern Spain, to be opened in 2003, reported the Spanish News Digest.
