Wei-chuan Foods Corp posted disappointing results today (9 November), largely believed to result from the loss of sales since the expiration of a supply contract for convenience stores along the Sun Yet-sen Highway. This year, October revenue was down 4.9% on the same month in 1999, to NT$931.6m, and the 9-month period of accumulated revenue witnessed a 5.8% drop to NT$8.25bn. Stock value rose however, to NT$8.15 from NT$8.05 by the end of trading.
