The Biotechnology Consultative Forum, an expert panel from the US and EU, will issue a report today that recommends the US strengthen regulation of genetically modified foods and move towards mandatory labelling. The report was made public yesterday at a summit meeting in Washington between President Clinton and leaders of the European Union.
