Two Greek companies have finalised a deal which will see the building of a bakery in Nigeria. Confectionery group Allatini and baker Katselis have established a joint company to build the new African operation.

Katselis, who posted consolidated turnover of €35.9m for 2000, an increase of 5.5% year on year, is also currently in negotiations with Loulis, in the hope that the flour mill group will invest in the holding company for the new bakery.
