Thomas Hernquist, Hershey’s global chief growth officer, will become the latest member of management to leave the company when he resigns at the end of the year.

Hernquist follows Marcella Arline, Hershey’s chief people officer, out of the door. Arline announced earlier this month that she wanted to retire from the company.

Three weeks ago, the Hershey Trust, the controlling shareholder in Hershey, shook up the company’s board of directors in a move that saw six directors leave.

Last month, chairman and CEO Rick Lenny decided to quit amid speculation that he had grown frustrated with its ownership structure.
