AUSTRALIA: Vegetable prices continue to rise after floods
Vegetable prices have increased dramatically and the Australian Consumers' Association are warning consumers to shop comparatively for the best prices. The price hikes are a result of the extensive flooding across northern areas of New South Wales and Queensland, and supermarkets, wholesalers and consumers all face increased costs for the commodities.

Moraitis Wholesale, based in NSW, has suggested that tomatoes and broccoli could reach A$6 per kilogram, while cabbages could fetch A$8 each.
