Steven Heyer, a former senior executive within the AOL Time Warner group was named the new head of Coca-Cola’s business ventures unit late Wednesday.

Heyer is expected to oversee new acquisitions and partnerships including recent joint ventures with Procter & Gamble and Nestlé.
Mr Heyer was the chief operating officer at Turner Networks but left the media group on Tuesday. Coca-Cola have been busy appointing executives to head its realigned business units – Americas, Asia, Europe/Africa and new business ventures – after restructuring its operations.
