Dutch food group Royal Cosun has snapped up French bakery ingredients supplier Caullet.

The deal, for an undisclosed sum, also includes Caullet’s export arm, Caulinter.
Cosun said the businesses would become part of its Unifine F&Bi unit, which supplies ingredients to bakers, confectioners and ice cream producers.
Unifine F&Bi has offices in nine European countries and the Caullet acquisition will boost Cosun’s presence in France, where Caullet is market leader in glazes and fondants.
