Leap acquired control of Parmalat Brasil in 2006, as part of the restructuring process following the Italian dairy group’s 2003 financial collapse.
In a regulatory filing, Leap said it will tender to buy all voting and non-voting shares in the company and then cancel its registration on the stock exchange.
