Frito-Lay, the snack unit of US food giant PepsiCo, has announced plans to expand its TrueNorth line of natural nut snacks.


The company said the range would now include two new flavours – Almond Cranberry Vanilla and Almond Cranberry Vanilla in White Chocolate.


Frito-Lay said the new varieties were inspired by “traditional holiday flavours”.


“With these holiday flavours, we’re offering consumers a delicious, unique snacking experience with a hint of holiday sweetness,” said Michelle Rule, director of marketing for the TrueNorth brand.


“Plus, these snacks provide the added convenience and benefit of resealable packaging to make them easy to share with family and friends.”
