Swiss firm Syngenta, which grabbed world attention last month after announcing it had mapped the rice genome with US company Myriad Genetics, has opened its first Korean unit today.
From its plant in Iksan, North Cholla Province, Syngenta Korea Co plans to focus on marketing and research activities for crop protection.
