Campbell Soup Co. is to change the colour of its iconic soup cans for one month to support research and fund-raising into breast cancer in the US.

The US food giant is supporting National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and will sell its two top-selling condensed soups – chicken noodle and tomato soups – in pink and white cans.

Campbell has also pledged to donate some US$300,000 to support breast cancer research, education and screening in the US.

“This disease affects the lives of so many women and families across the country, so we’re proud to help raise awareness and make direct contributions to help find a cure,” said Chris Slager, vice president, for the Campbell’s Lighter Soups brand.
