The Denmark-based firm said today (23 July) that it sold Crispy Food to local bakery group Koff, the holding company for Kohberg Bread.

“Crispy Food is being sold because we want to focus more on our core business,” said Arla vice CEO Povl Krogsgaard.

Koff said the acquisition of Crispy Food would add to its presence in the market for breakfast foods.

“We’re already heavily involved in the breakfast products’ market and Crispy Foods fits our portfolio,” said Koff chairman Preben Fogtmann. “The acquisition will enable us to offer existing and new customers an even stronger product range.”
