The Camarillo, California, company was in talks to buy out online snack delivery firm Kozmo.com before it collapsed two weeks ago, but a deal could not be reached. Now, as CEO Dan Frederickson explained, PDQuick faces the same fate if a buyer cannot be found.
Frederickson revealed that the grocer, which was formally called Pink Dot, is conducting talks with three unidentified parties and one employee group to allow the company to remain a separate entity, but he declined to disclose further details.
