Launching today (2 October), the ‘Rounded Down’ programme will see price reductions in its Real Canadian Superstore and Loblaw Superstore locations across Ontario.

Items include national brand products across all categories of the store, and Loblaw’s own private label brand, President’s Choice. The offer finishes on 29 October.

“We take pricing extremely seriously. We recognize our customers’ desire to continue to buy their family the brands and products they love, while maintaining a careful eye on their weekly household budget,” said Dalton Philips, COO of Loblaw Companies

Cut price products include Activia yogurt reduced from C$5.57 (US$5.13) to C$4.00 and Delissio frozen pizza from C$7.39 to C$5.00.

Loblaw this week completed the acquisition of T&T Supermarket, the country’s largest Asian food retailer, in a deal worth C$225m.

The acquisition was previously announced on 24 July.
