The Fish Finger and Ketchup Sandwich, as it is officially called, features cod fish fingers, sandwiched between two slices of white bread, ketchup and leaves of Apollo lettuce.

Tesco said it has discussed developing other comfort food classic sandwiches but it will see how well the fish finger sandwich sells first.
