“By launching EggSolutions for the Canadian food service industry, we are bringing the highest quality, safest and most versatile egg products to the marketplace,” said Aaron Kwinter, President of EggSolutions Inc.
The high-tech facility will serve food manufacturers and foodservice companies with EggSolutions Extended Shelf Life (ESL) refrigerated egg products, fully cooked egg entrees including omelets and egg patties, diced eggs and pre-cooked scrambled eggs.
Located in Etobicoke, Ontario, Global Egg is one of Canada’s premium egg breaking and egg further processing companies, and supplies many of the country’s leading food manufacturers and major food distributors.
Based in Monticello, Minnesota, Sunny Fresh is the second largest value-added egg further processor in the United States. Sunny Fresh has facilities in Monticello, Panora and Mason City, Iowa and Lake Odessa, Michigan, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cargill, Incorporated. Cargill is an international marketer, processor and distributor of agricultural, food, financial and industrial products with 85,000 employees in over 60 countries.
