Luxury confectionery brand MarieBelle New York has launched a new hot chocolate drink and chocolate bar under the Maya Chocolate brand. The new products are based on an unsweetened formula that contains no sugar substitutes.
 
The Maya Hot Chocolate can be sipped straight like an espresso, says Mariebelle, or can be flavoured and sweetened by the addition of syrups.
 
The 3.5-ounce Maya Chocolate Bar also contains no added sugar.
 
The Maya Chocolate blend is an “essential ingredient” for passionate chocolate lovers and serious cooks, as well as people with diabetes and those counting their calories, the company said.
