Israeli nutrition solutions specialist LycoRed has entered into a distribution agreement with Eurochem Feinchemie Germany which will see Eurochem market LycoRed’s carotenoid brands, dietary supplements, and food and beverage fortification ingredients in Germany.

“LycoRed expects the new agreement with Eurochem Feinchemie will give the company increased presence in Germany and will penetrate the functional food as well as the dietary supplement markets,” said LycoRed’s marketing director Udi Alroy. “We have selected Eurochem among leading German agents thanks to their long-term partnership with leading customers and suppliers.”

LycoRed said that Eurochem brings established routes to market in the German nutraceuticals industry and will focus on a number of important market segments where LycoRed has so far not been inactive.

Oliver Schulz, Eurochem’s CEO, said: “Our alliance with LycoRed fits perfectly into our portfolio of custom-made products and services.  We work in close relationship with our suppliers and exclusively provide high-quality products to our customers by participating with them in all stages of development in order to provide a custom-made product. We are proud to market the well-known brand, Lyc-O-Mato, for dietary supplements.”
