Saudi-based dairy group Almarai today (8 July) posted a 21.9% jump in first-half profits on the back of strong sales gains.

The company said that consolidated net profit for the six-months ended 30 June rose to SAR484.5m (US$129.4m), up from SAR397.4m
Sales jumped 17.2% year-on-year, increasing to SAR2.8bn.
“Increased profit is the result of the success of the company’s policies, investment plans and expansion of the customer base,” Almarai said in a statement.
