The head of Cadbury’s operations in Europe is to leave the confectionery giant at the end of the month, the company has confirmed to just-food.

Tamara Minick-Scokalo, who only became president, Europe at Cadbury in January, is to leave the business after two-and-a-half years with the business.

Minick-Scokalo’s role will be combined with that of Ignasi Ricou, Cadbury’s European commerical operations director. Ricou will take on the enlarged role.

A Cadbury spokesperson told just-food that Minick-Scokalo had acted as a “caretaker” in the group’s move into a pure confectionery company.

“It’s a combination of streamlining some positions and ensuring quicker decision-making,” the spokesperson told just-food. “Cadbury has only been in its current shape for a year and these types of evolutions are not unusual.”
