Belgian dairy co-op Inza has signed a deal to buy long-life dairy drink brands Yogho Yogho and Choco Choco from FrieslandCampina.

The proposed acquisition includes product recipes and commercial operations but FrieslandCampina will receive a licence to use the trademarked in the EU but outside the Benelux.
Outside the EU, FrieslandCampina will continue to own the brands.
The sale of the brands was first flagged last December when the EU gave permission for the merger for Friesland Foods and Campina provided a clutch of businesses were sold off – including Yogho Yogho and Choco Choco.
The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of the year.
