China Discovery Acquisition Corp. has announced that its shareholders have approved its acquisition of all of the outstanding securities of the parent company of HeNan Smart Food Company.
 
As a result, HeNan Smart Food Company will now become an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of China Discovery.
 
The vote to approve the deal took place at an extraordinary general meeting on 25 June. The company said the transaction was now closed. Following the filing of an amended memorandum and articles of association, China Discovery is to change its name to Si Mei Te Food Limited.
 
The extraordinary general meeting also approved the election of seven new board directors.
