The deal will see the creation of a third subsidiary, in addition to the two existing US operating companies – Sorrento Lactalis, and Lactalis USA.


Operating under the current management team, Mozzarella Fresca will benefit from access to the human, financial, industrial and marketing resources of the Lactalis worldwide network.
 
The acquisition is pending antitrust approval.
