Spanish retailer Eroski has launched a discount range, El Más Barato (“the cheapest”), which it claims offers savings of EUR1,223 (US$1,735.40) per household per year.

The range is made up of 800 products that are being sold at an average 30% discount, the company said.
The line covers “virtually all the needs of any family, from fresh produce, food and non-food”, Eroski added.
