Crossmark will handle the sale of Oberto’s meat snack products to US grocery and convenience stores. Meanwhile, S&K Sales Co. will handle the US military channel and Advantage CKN will look after the Canadian market.
“As our business and the industry evolves, these new partnerships put us in the best possible position to continue the tremendous growth and success Oberto has enjoyed for more than 90 years,” said chairman and interim CEO Dennis Delaye.
PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay unit will sell Oberto’s Oh Boy! snacks until 15 August, when the beef jerky maker will move to a direct sales and distribution model.
