Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. yesterday announced the election of Curtis M. Gore to Vice President of Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc and appoints him as Montgomery Division Manager. The announcement was made by John R. Sheehan, Senior Vice President Operations. Gore was previously with Nash-Finch in Minneapolis, MN where he was Director of Corporate Retail Merchandising and most recently General Manager of the Dakota Region.

“We are pleased to have Curt join our management team,” said Sheehan. “Curt is passionate about excellent store conditions and customer service. He has the experience and a proven record of success that will help us build our business.”

Prior to joining Nash-Finch, Gore spent 21 years with Albertson’s. He worked in three different Albertson’s divisions with involvement in all phases of retail operations and merchandising. Starting with Albertson’s Florida Division in 1979 , he was moved to the Inland Northwest Division in Spokane, WA in 1993. Between 1997 and 1999 he was in Albertson’s Houston Division.


Winn-Dixie’s Montgomery Division operates 186 stores in Alabama and parts of Georgia, Florida, Mississippi and Tennessee.
