Eyles joins Asda from McCain Foods where he held the position of marketing director for eight years.
Eyles has over 15 years of brand management experience and is recognised within the manufacturing industry as a “top 100 marketeer”, Asda said.
McCain said it is looking for an external candidate to replace Eyles. “In the interim, Sue Jefferson, prepared foods business unit director, will oversee the marketing activities alongside her current role,” a spokesperson said.
“We wish Simon all the best for the future and we will make an announcement as soon as a new marketing director has been identified.”
