Unilever has launched a recall of some Ben and Jerry’s ice cream in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland because the product is in Dutch packaging.

The company has recalled affected batches of Ben and Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie Low Fat Ice Cream (500ml) because the ingredients list is not in English and could therefore pose a threat to consumers with egg, milk, soya or gluten sensitivity.


The product has not been distributed to other parts of the UK.


No other Unilever or Ben and Jerry’s products are affected.
