The company’s Dr Steve Bodicoat commented: “We’ve developed these two new Myvatex powders to answer the increasing needs of the foodservice specialist who wants to create a variety of food products with minimum inventory, at speed in restricted working space or with limited equipment.”

The products in the Myvatex Mighty range are suitable for sweet and savoury foodstuffs. They are easy to use and because they come as a dry mix powder they can create a variety of textures by mixing with water, cream, juice or yoghurt. Dairy specialist Neil Bourke explained: “Myvatex allows foodservice specialists the opportunity to create a personalised palette of textures, from a smooth and light aerated texture to a rich and full, indulgent one.

“We already have trial orders with some processors who supply into the foodservice channels and feedback so far has been very encouraging.”
