US food processed meat manufacturer Barber Foods Co. has recalled a number of frozen, stuffed chicken carving roast products over concerns that they may contain foreign materials.
The problem was discovered after a consumer complained about finding pieces of plastic in the product.
Market Day Stuffed Chicken Breast Roast with Rib Meat, with Cranberry and Sage Stuffing, with the product code 1037, CAT. C and date code 31881, has been recalled.
The company has also pulled Barber Foods Distinctions Barber Carver with Cranberry and Sage Stuffing, with a product code 031484 and date codes 31881 or 31882.
The products were produced in November 2008 and were distributed by Market Day in the midwest and eastern US.
