The deal, which was struck for an undisclosed sum, sees Cal-Maine snap up assets including four million laying eggs, two feed mills and the 4-Grain brand of speciality eggs.
Cal-Maine has also taken on Tampa Farm Service’s interest in one of its subsidiaries, American Egg Products.
