Chewing gum maker Wm. Wrigley is looking to cut the carbon footprint from its logistics operations in western Europe, the company has announced.

IT group Infosys Technologies has identified ways in which Wrigley can reduce its carbon footprint by 20% from its logistics network on the continent.
“Managing our impact on the environment is an integral part of Wrigley corporate philosophy,” Ian Robertson, head of supply chain sustainability at Wrigley, said today (20 November).
“We’re committed to making improvements across all operations but need an integrated enterprise system to measure progress. Infosys provided that solution and services to empower that process.”
